Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays... and sometimes more

Whether you are new to Maastricht or are searching for a community of students to support you in your Faith journey (AND who know how to have a lot of fun in the process), contact us or come to one of our many events or activities throughout the school year. You are always welcome!

PS: We also go on fun trips, from hiking to travels to Italy, Scotland, and New York City.

After the 5:00pm Saturday evening Mass in the Onze Lieve Vrouw Basilica, students gather for a free meal and fellowship, forming friendships over a great dessert and an amazing conversation about Faith and life.

After the Wednesday 7:00 pm Saint Servaas English Mass, students relax at Keizer Karelplein 3 from 7:45 to 9:30. Each week's gathering focuses on community, study, prayer, or outreach.

The MCSC house is located right next to Onze Lieve Vrouw Basillica. The house is usually open Fridays.

Stop by for a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy a good conversation.

Each semester we offer retreat opportunities. The Spring weekend retreat in Sittard begins on Friday evening and ends on Sunday afternoon.  There is also the option to come only on Saturday for a day retreat.

The retreats include Mass, Adoration, Confession opportunity, talks, Bible sharing, discussion groups, games, great food, and time for silence and reflection.

On the First Friday of each month, we gather at Onze Lieve Vrouw Basilica from 7:30 to 8:30pm for prayer, music, and confession opportunity.

Each February we host our annual pilgrimage to Rome and stay in the beautiful and peaceful Bracciano casas. Other trips include days of service in Amsterdam, travel to Scotland for Youth 2000, and for the first time in 2018: a trip to New York City for the 62nd UN Commission on the Status of Women.

Salsa lessons, game night, hikes, picnics, movie night...

Let us know if you have an idea!

Is there a topic that interests you?  In December of 2017 we hosted our first Study Day at the Onze Lieve Vrouw Basillica. The topic was the Dignity of Life with a focus on the sensitive issues surrounding women's health.

During our Rome pilgrimage, we hosted two seminars on hope. Past seminars have been on Human Dignity and the New Evangelization. We are happy to offer more study days in the future, let us know what topics interest you.

Are you trying to find one of these events and can't find the right building or right the door?

Yeah, we get confused too. And sometimes we can't hear the doorbell.

Contact us and we will help you find the way.  Use the MCSC whatsapp or the chaplaincy mobile: +31 6 30788074

MCSC started in 2016 with the approval of Bishop Wiertz and Bishop de Jong to provide a place for all students in Maastricht to grow in their Catholic Faith during their years in Maastricht. Students of all Faiths are welcome to come and enjoy the hospitality and fellowship of our chaplaincy.
