Meet our Team of Priests

Father Jan Vries is the current pastor of Onze Lieve Vrouw and St. Pieter. Previously, he was vicar in Maastricht, studied canon law in Munich, was vicar in Roermond, and directed the diocesan seminary in Rolduc. He is also the judicial vicar of the diocesan tribunal.

Bishop Everard de Jong grew up in Eindhoven, where he studied metalworking and electronics before entering the seminary. After working as a chaplain, he studied philosophy in Rome and then philosophy of science in Washington, DC. He was appointed auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Roermond by Pope St. John Paul II in 1999.

Father John Dautzenberg was raised in Kerkrade-Chèvremont. After his ordination in 1992, he lived and worked in Geleen. He served as pastor in Tegelen for 19 years before being named dean of Maastricht and pastor of St. Servaas and St. Anna/St. Lambertus. His dog Joep is a favorite among parishoners.

Father Geraldo de Vasconcelos C.O. (1984) is a Brazilian priest of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri, a 16th-century Italian congregation dedicated to the spiritual education of adults and the promotion of Christian culture.

Father Henyer Garcia came to the Netherlands from Venezuela and is a member of the Neocatechumenal Way. He currently serves as chaplain at the churches of St. Servaas and St. Anna/St. Lambertus.
